Holly and I went to Barrett-Jackson and also Pavilions as well. After all, what's one to do...when it's auction week?

Thanks to our friend Jamie-we've had credentials for the week.Unfortunately, work and a really bad cold for me got in the way until today. Lynn didn't join us as she wasn't feeling good today.

Enjoy the pics...it was great to see everyone (including Jamie and Rob!)...along with Bob Ashton, David and Nancy Oscher, John and Donna Ward (and Kellie), Sizzler Wayne, Fred Koenig, Jim and Lynn Parks, Shaun Price, Dave Gilsmer, Craig C., Both Fred Mandricks, I even caught a glimpse of Bill Pritchard (I think) but he was gone before I could get there.

We were also privileged to meet up with Wendy Anderson, Scott Black, Aaron Shelby and Gary Patterson at Barrett-Jackson today. What wonderful, inspirational and caring folks!

Enjoy the pics!!

Nice pix Bruce. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to see you or Holly, I only stayed at Pavillions for a short while. What a great car-week for PHX. Auctions had some nice offerings, Pavillions had a great turnout and the weather cooperated. Phil W.

Then Holly and I were invited by Scott Black to check out Ryan Blaney (NASCAR) racing against Gary Patterson (Shelby President) in the Ford Dyno at the front of Barrett-Jackson.

Hmmm, I wonder if Ryan is related to Dave Blaney-who I used to watch race at Ascot in Gardena way back when.....

Once we were done with the dyno drag race, it made perfect sense to get out of Barrett-Jackson-as the crowds were getting huge...and we were right by the entrance/exit!

Then the quick trip to Pavilions, where we were only going to stay for about a half hour (My feet were killing me-plantar fasciitis?). Yeah sure, half hour...we spent more time than that...talking to Bob Ashton! :)

Anyways, enjoy the pics....

Speaking of Bob...here he is!

Great pictures again.

I would think a guy who traded in a Superbird plus five grand to get a new 76 Blazer would have been almost suicidal ten years ago but now the Blazers and Broncos are selling for more than GT500's and Superbirds .

Hi Randy, we won't. Nor will we be going to the Leake auction either.

We're heading to Barrett-Jackson this morning for a bit, then we have to get ready for Holly's once a year testing for both her kidney and heart...coming up this next week :beers:
