In the summer of 1976 I street raced a similar looking 2nd generation Camaro that I remember being a light green color. I remember the wild white stripe, side pipes, big tires. The thing I remember the most is the young man yelling "454" out of the back seat as the flew by me. I also remember a 454 emblem above the SS emblem. I never ever saw that car again even though we cruised that same street for the next few years.

Salt Lake City, Utah. The cruising street was State Street which is in the center of town. Memory is a funny thing. I forget things like birthdays, anniversaries but that memory of that car stuck. Probably because it was so wild looking at the time.

There was a Motion 2nd gen that I seen on State as well in 82. It used to park on 9th south between Main and State. It was green.
