Beautiful car and one of the few black-on-black '62s I've ever seen. Supposed to be the original mill - what do you guys think about the deck stamp?

I would say the engine does not have its factory stamping

From my research, I'd have to say restamp. The cowl tag is also a repro. (and a bad one). I also doubt that the car ever started life black or as a Super Sport.

The problem is that when something like this can be detected, we really have no avenue to warn prospective buyers from being screwed. In my case, I feel like my hands are tied while I sit here and watch someone lighten their wallet.
