David...is this the bracket used for the brake hose off the valve cover. Is it correct for a 69 Z or is that a different stamp?

Yes, it's the bracket used for the brake hose off the valve cover. However, it has an "AS" stamping and is a little shorter in length. I've never seen one on a 69 Z28 and don't know the actual application. Thanxs Dave

That "AS" bracket is GM part#3817691. What I found it fits:

1963 Corvette.
1964-1965 Chevy II Nova (V8).
1963-1965 Impala, Biscayne, + Bel-Air (283 + 327).
