If the seller's story is true, this is one of the best finds I've seen in the past couple of years:
"Remaining untouched, this complete and stock vehicle was purchased from the original owner in 1981. It was driven 30 miles home and then parked in the garage where it still sets today has not been driven since. The Polyglass tires are still holding air and original paint shines."

Looks like seller has only one other EBAY transaction. Not saying that’s a bad thing, just saying.....

Its kind of a neat backstory, but for Boss 429's, maybe more than about any other muscle car, the super low miles/put away without being modded or beat to death is a fairly common thing. There's dozens of them out there.

Very true - I have a calypso coral B9 with some original paint and 31k original miles. Lots of low mile examples out there.

This is right in my back yard if anyone needs eyes on it. I am not a Mustang guy but I can definitely give a read on condition.

So true!
I remember reading somewhere back in the day that Boss Mustang owners tended to baby & polish their machines, while Z/28 owners thrashed their cars and replaced parts constantly...

Boss 429's only come with 3.91 or 4.30 rear end ratios
That in itself helps in keeping them off the highway accumulating mileage

….and the Hemi Mopars are in that same boat, too. For either one, once they started running poorly and needed some super tuning done, there were few people who really knew the tricks to getting them to run up to expectations. Hence, just park 'em…."I'll get it running better one of these days"....that sounds like a familiar story.

I know of another white Boss 9 with around 20k miles and still has the smog etc on the engine. Owner wants 250k I believe.
