Some pretty cool stuff in there!

The P538 that was detailed has nothing to do with the original 003 that led a colourful life.

Yes. Been close to getting it bought for years but as you can see from the video not much leaves.

Anybody know if the ex-Jack Werst Hemi Superbird race car is in that collection? Pretty famous car Chrysler trumped up to pounce on the Ray Allen Chevelle in SS/EA. Other than being re-lettered, still wears original race livery.

Sounds like they're for sale now.

That is mind-blowing! Can't wait to watch the car by car tour video. Hopefully #55 is in a 'fancier' home than this.

Not sure why someone with the obvious means of this collector would buy Cobra kit cars and Hemi Cuda clones though? Maybe the longer video will prove me wrong.

You can't fault anyone for having fun.

I envy this collectors ability to have acquired some incredible cars....even if some/most are continuations/recreations/curiosities.

Some of the best collections in the world have been squirrelled away in containers sitting in the desert, stuck in leaky buildings in rainy climates, put in damp areas with tarps over them, left outside to have trees grow up through them, etc. Tom Cotter wouldn't have a business model if they were all properly stored. Who doesn't dream of digging out of some of these conditions?

One of the most incredible collections I've witnessed was Walter's:

That news article only talks negatively of Walter. He is a great person and a real car guy.

Crazy how someone like this Walter can have such a vast collection yet fails to make payments and lose his stuff on probably pennies on the dollar?????

I don't know Walter on a personal level.....he's certainly a car nut. I'm grateful to have seen the cars and spend some time with him. As a collector he pursued and acquired some incredible iron. Walter's cars are real as rain.

Probably one of the clones. Can anyone read what year the license plate is ?

Mark Canning from our group dug out this pic of the plate on the Al Wallace clone of 20+ years ago.

Looks the same to me.

That last video (I didn't watch it in its entirety) is the Maryland collection I referred to earlier. I recognized "Holly". I've seen the owner at local swap meets buying used $15.00 stuff, and I've also seen him at auctions spending millions.

Curious about the decision to detail those high-end cars. Would've thought they'd have more appeal as found......

From the videos I've seen, the detailing is really cleaning and a bit of preservation. Not a "fluff and buff" trying to hide issues.

I'd suspect the exposure on Larry's YouTube channel and knowing that someone skilled help revive them will help with selling them as well.

Using a power buffer on any of the original lacquer paint GM cars is a BIG NO NO. ESPECIALLY the Corvettes, the surface finish of vette paint is scrutinized extremely closely because unlike other GM cars they couldn't reflow fiberglass cars in a baking booth.

They are putting together a website to list the cars.https://foryournextcar.com/

Does that mean an original Corvette that has been buffed by the original owner won't pass muster? Wouldn't improving the finish of a babied car be expected?
