So, I bought a new ride today! It’s a very unique 2000 Fat Boy with just 115 original miles on it! I’ll be honest and say it has a lot more chrome on it than I would typically like, but the story is cool and it is absolutely brand new...
It was purchased new locally in March of 2000. MSRP was $23,733 CDN and the out the door cost was $41,500! It has a factory custom paint set - number 33 of 125 produced with just 5 sets coming to Canada - chrome front end, chrome swing arm, chrome wheels and a custom engraved dash and tank bib that matches the graphics under the Brandy Wine Candy paint. It also got a 95 cubic inch upgrade and a ton of accessories. It left the dealer with 25 kms (15 miles) on it and was parked in the owner’s living room until July of 2019 and never ridden. A local bike guy who new the original owner purchased it and spent $4k recommissioning the bike and adding the current exhaust pipes which compliment the graphics in the paint also. He added another 168 kms and sold it to me. I’m probably going to take some of the accessories off to tone it down a little, but otherwise I love it!
