Nice car and ordered in the rarely seen Azure Turquoise (and also, the rarely seen 3-speed manual transmission, although I'd guess many more were built with this transmission and were later swapped to a Muncie 4-speed).
Interesting docs. It is me, or is the price listed on that dealer invoice extraordinarily high for the options this car has?

I really like this car. I can count on 1 hand how many original 3 speed 69 SS cars I've seen, including mine. I agree most were swapped to 4 speeds or autos. Thus the reason no one really knows they exist.
Needs the proper reproduction shifter boot. At least they are including the parts they replaced with the sale.

Nice car. The selling price of $3864.70 seems right for a SS equipped with the tape player. The rest of the price is enhanced by the up front finance charges and insurance.

The ‘invoice’ has some problems.
Give or take a few dollars on the destination charge, the MSRP would have been $3,685.70. That means they charged the customer $179 for the alarm system. Sales tax is stated as 5% but calculates to 4.3%. There is an unspecified charge of $41.44. No discount but I doubt a ’59 Olds would have been traded in for $505.70 in 1969.
The NY registration label on the windshield lists the VIN as 124379N690228; the VIN tag and invoice shows 124379N690222. Wonder what VIN is on the title. The protect-o-plate photo is hard to read but the last character of the VIN looks more like an 8 than a 2. On the invoice, the last character of the VIN is typed on a line but the line under it is not visible as it is in several other areas on the form. The dash top has been replaced so the VIN tag has been removed from the car.
Got some things to clarify here.

Auction is a scam, the window sticker and VIN pictures have been photoshopped.
Look at how the line does not go through the last 2 on the vin.

What an informative display of how to deconstruct a pretty clever fraud. I reported to Ebay, hope others have as well. It's kind of frustrating how dumbed-down their reporting system is-I wasn't able to leave any info about WHY I thought it was fraudulent. Another thing to check when things seem fishy is the feedback. There's no car stuff in the seller's feedback profile, and all but one of the feedbacks is as a buyer. Looks like somebody took over an old account with good feedback.

Wow. Good work, guys. I recall the same sort of scam being pulled using a blue ‘70 Z a few months back.
Holy Chit.
You guys are good.

I see it has been reposted... don’t know if that’s new, but I reported it as a fraudulent item.

Unfortunately it appears that it has sold for $31K, obviously eBay did absolutely nothing to prevent this fraud, I know that the auction was reported to them, sad.
I reported it. But like someone else said, ebay does not allow you to write in any reason. They have drop down reasons, and there is no drop down that says "seller photoshopped a diffferent VIN for the vehicle."

Correct, but I would think that when there are multiple reports on an item it would raise a red flag.
