Now this is one worth restoring...owner has had it 25 years and it looks way better than most 'restorable' Z/28 projects I've seen. Not the original block or trans, but still a desirable project with great colors.

I doubt I would ever do another yellow interior car. The replacement interiors are horrible & the real stuff is impossible to find....Joe

X2! Just installed a yellow interior. Terrible. Each piece was a different shade of yellow!

I have always wondered if someone ever rigged those up to dispense bleach for a big smoky burnout. :D

steve shauger, block stamping look familiar? Its the exact assembly date as mine and the fonts are identical, how about that! You know JM hates me for saying what he did.

Yes, it's an 010 block and it's a complete motor from Carburetor to oil pan.
I'll get the casting date on it tomorrow.

Thanks. That motor was assembled the exact same day as mine in my 1969 Z28 survivor and stamping is identical. Thanks for sharing

Glad it's heading to a member here!
Looks like that single bid didn't hit reserve, but were you able to negotiate the NOS quarters into the deal?

Yes, Tim. I got the rear quarters in the package. I'll start a thread on it when things get started.

It had a stint in Minnesota back in the early '90s from what I've learned. I'm going to hunt for the original owner in ND and see if I can obtain a Cert of Origin? Hopefully ND DMV still has access to MF records?
