If my shop was done, I would be on the road right now to SF to pick this up.

Already sold... wish I could say that I bought it, but it was not me. :-(
Great find!

Have a look at this one...

After all the highly modified Tri Fives out there, I almost forgot how much I like the ones that are original, or at least very close to original.

Are you certain it is sold? The ad is still up on CL.

Might as well put a picture of the black & white one on here for posterity. Asking price was $22K and location appears to be Pleasanton, CA.
Red Belair asking price was $27K and location is Santa Monica, CA.
I saved every pic from the CL ad, just so I could drool over it from time to time.
I had a Tropical Turquoise / White top and side panel Two-Ten two door sedan in High School. 283 PG car.

Am I the only one who'd rather have the red one? If I wasn't building a Camaro at the moment I'd be all over that red 57
Toss up for me. I have never had a thing for red cars, and don't really car for red interiors.
Given the price difference (5k) I would take the black one.

He sent me a reply saying it was sold, and he was slow in taking down his ad.

Agreed! Plus it looks "straighter" the black one looks a little wavy....
