Hi sYc Friends, I have a treat here, an early 1969 smog pump dated in 68 and an original 3932458 DA deep groove smog pump pulley, which has never been painted(!).

Pump is stamp dated 269, and since 1968 was a Leap Year, that means it's dated September 25th. It is cast dated 247 (September 3rd).

Full date stamp is 26981S - no blow / pop off valve of course and untouched, spins freely and still has the white fan and the four matching original rear SBC head marked bolts. No rust / corrosion, very presentable. Does not make the flapping sound when spun, so I'm presuming the veins are not intact; it spins with nearly no resistance.

The show piece of course is the 458 DG pulley with original RBW bolts and washers. NOT a repop pulley - has the distinctive, original deep cut stamping / stamped numbers. P & F stamps are also present.

The bracket has the correct assembly line square welded nut with an RBW bolt.

Was run up until recently, and I think that's why pump may've been hollowed out, but not sure, I'm not taking it apart. Two ribbed hoses included with four tower clamps - they look the part, but are dated 3/71.

Diverter is the 29295 - 7029295 Small block valve with a nice, never painted or wire brushed / polished original finish muffler. The 3942533 extension is very presentable and held on with original SB bolts.

Has been disassembled for packing / shipping. Lots of photos coming FYI.

$950 PPFF shipped to the 48.

PM me with interest.

Cheers, and be safe & well everyone.

Very nice unit for an Early 69 Z or L78 survivor for sure... it would take you a while to find all those pieces in that patina, which BTW would clean up easily if you wanted it for low mile original car.
