There's nothing too helpful in this ad that would lead me to conclude this was an original Z/28, but the trim tag seems to be in place (despite the seller not mentioning it). CE block, so no luck there. And, bidding begins at $20k which seems nuts unless you can justify the Z/28 pedigree. Still, these cars are occasionally worth checking out - there's an old set of tow tabs in one of the pics, and who knows, this might be an original black RS/Z for all I know...and the seller may be more negotiable on the price after a conversation.

Not built with drip rail trim so not an RS.

Looks like it may have been a race car at one time. Also has a set of big block headers and other parts.

X11 Trim Tag, complete false advertising.

X11 Trim Tag, complete false advertising.

The seller amended the ad to reflect the X11 issue.
I don't believe that the seller had malicious intent.

I see a punched hole for the floor automatic shifter cable. Rules out a Z/28.

Good eye Warren.
Also does not look like a factory cut shifter hole in the tunnel.
