That is cool! Reminds me of when my parents picked up their brand new 70 MC. It was our family car!

When I was a kid growing up, the guy a couple of streets over had one of these - red with black VT. He also had a 70 Chevelle SS 396. When he blew the motor up in the Chevelle, he swapped the motor over from the Monte.

Those cars have one of the longest radiator fan shrouds I have ever seen. You could easily fit a V12 in one of those cars.

My uncle owned one of these... yellow with black vinyl and guts. I spent some good times in that passenger seat.

I'd like to see this car with a stick... and some vintage torque thrusts! Wonder what size tire those rear wheel openings will take?

I think so Bill, did you catch the red piping on the seats ?

Love these cars. Here is a customer's 71 SS454 that might be coming up for sale soon. He cannot decide whether to sell this one or the Black Cherry SS454.

----Yes, Mike. Saw that but forgot to mention it. Almost appears to be velour along the top as well......Bill S

https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/topic/22093-1970-ss-454-wbuildsheet-15k-ohio/ Think i would rather have this one for the same money , has more of the ss454 stuff intact .

I don't remember why but GM never made an SS454 with a 4sp. Anyone know?

Can't answer that, but IIRC a 4 speed could be had with a 402 big block?
