Anyone know anything about the Old Mike Savoie Chevrolet, 1000 South Woodward Avenue Birmingham Michigan. I know the dealership moved to Troy Michigan and is still in business at that location. I know Savoie Chevrolet took over what was North Chevrolet in 1967. They sold 1 of the 20 1967 L88 Vettes produced in 67.

I bought my last 3 vehicles there, their in the troy Motor mall now, , I never knew they were at a diff location, great dealership, I’ve never seen any memorabilia from a diff location either, they usually put a nice cruise in on once a year, they have one of those new Camaros they race

Looks like they were only at the first location for 2 years before moving to the current location.

They sold an 06E built Deepwater Blue '67 Z-28 but I didn't know they sold one of the 20 L-88s. That's pretty cool.

Obviously had good GM connections as they delivered a lot of special cars including the 'GM Lobby car' '67 'Velle 'Vert SS396 L34/4-Spd. Black w/ Red interior/White top also note original titled owner appears to be GM's Joe Pike.
We had a thread here w/ it also other personal cars Dana Mecum sold @ Indy '09, thread gone but listing still alive @ this link...

I’m going to look for the address on Woodward, I think they still sell cars there, like high end Exotics, there’s usually a pvt party going on there at dream cruise.
I found a key chain, not from the Woodward location but from the troy, it’s from the late 80’s
I think

This is the location of the original Mike Savoie Chevrolet that was a 1000 South Woodward Avenue Birmingham Michigan. I believe they moved to Troy location Approx 1969. What is neat is during the Woodward Dream Cruise Chevy sets up a display right in front of this location in Birmingham Michigan on old South Woodward.

Looks like Birmingham MI opened in May of 1966:

Ahh, ok. I was thinking they were in the AMC dealership when they moved,
Savoie always did a nice Cruze in car show, but the last few years they didn’t do any. Their drag cars are on display as well as other cool stuff.
I’ll keep an eye out at the swaps for older Savoie stuff

Yes Mike Savoie Chevrolet took over what was North Chevrolet in Birmingham Michigan for several years then moved its operations to Troy.
