View Full Version : '66 Corvette "427" Convertible, Green on Green

I added the "427" in quotation because this car actually has a 510ci big block making a claimed 560hp, dressed in 427 trim. I'm not familiar with the AACA Zenith award this car has won, but the restoration does look incredibly nice.

It will be interesting to see how this one does - although it's been restored to a very high standard, I can't figure out from the description how it was originally optioned (including whether it was born with a 427).

----Also noted the vinyl top which wasn't available in 66. The IP should be a one piece sticker and belongs on the back of the Valve cover, not the front. Quite a few other minor things under the hood incorrect. With that said, It's a nice resto with a bunch of detail stuff. It does have big-block stubs on the pumpkin which is at least correct for a big block......Bill S
