View Full Version : '68 Chevelle 300 #s L-79 Post Sedan, Insanely Nice, Factory Air (!!)

I can't remember the last time I saw a '68 post car with its *original* l79 engine. Definitely a popular car to clone, but the real ones are few and far between. And, how odd to have a super basic 3-speed no-radio car with factory air.
Sequoia Green is really an underrated color....

I really like it too but would prefer no AC.
Nice resto but description words indicate stamper parts so original engine doubtful?:hmmm:
:beers:

I believe Chuck Hanson may have owned that car at one time, I remember him describing it at least :hmmm:

Someone has a reason to be a little biased.

Yes, Chuck did own it, pre-restoration.

Ad description states: "...one dome lamp switch...". I see one in the passenger side door jamb, so does that mean the drivers door does not have one? Seems odd to me. :dunno:

Yep, Sequoia Green looks especially awesome when combined with a white interior to make it pop. And the white stripes if on a 68 Camaro. One of those underappreciated colors, like Burnished Brown. :)

Relisted again...and I have to say, it's tough to keep the shine on when the car is on its fourth time around the block.
Such a sweet car - maybe it's time for a Hemmings auction instead.
