Looks like a good project - and solid. I found an old ad for it in a 1974 Pomona, CA newspaper...no interesting details but cool to see nonetheless.

I've had 4 '66 Fairlanes. All of them had rust in the floor in the same place this one does. I love those cars. Too bad the 390 didn't have more power. All of the '66 GTs and GTAs had the 9 inch rear end where the '67 had the 8 inch.

I don't believe '67 390 cars ever got 8" rears. All the ones I know of (including a 40k mile unrestored '67 GT) are packing 9"-ers.

67 GT/GTA with the 289 probably had 8".
