Wow is this ever cool...some underbody rot but I love the Wisconsin plates with '71 tabs.

The seller is claiming the engine block is original - were these actually stamped with the partial VIN back in '58, or did that begin later? There's a good picture of the engine assembly code but nothing showing the partial VIN, if that's indeed something that was done this far back.

Too bad the frame is so bad. But with all the pro touring stuff going on, chassis’ can be had I suppose to repair it.

----That rear crossmember is a frequently seen rust area. It is reproduced and isn't that hard to replace. Looking at all the pics the rest of the rust is surface with a decent amount of pitting. Definetly restorable......Bill S
