WTB. 1 AU wheel dated prior to end of March (like the one shown in the background of this photo). Will take either a very nice wheel or will pay up for a restored one ready to install with the correct colors. Also need the plastic bumper jack cover (as seen under the spare tire in second photo).

I just saw both of these items the other day on Facebook and now cannot find them. Hopefully it was someone here's ad.

Please PM or email me ONLY. [email protected] Thank you.
Rick

Keep this one a secret.
Not sure if these are repops, but they are perfect if they are. To repop this wthe tooling would be expensive and if so, why are they not being sold at the larger vendors?

I'm not the seller, but have heard very good reports from the folks who have bought them.

I don't think 1970 jacks came in a bag. There was a sleeve that went around the jack, but it was plain black, not houndstoooth.

Thanks Dave. This is what I am looking for. Found out this morning I also need a complete jack assembly. The item you linked looks perfect. I agree, tough item to repop I would think.

I'm sure you already know the jacks are dated on the rivet, but also know that the jack mast length changed through the year and that Van Nuys cars mast shape was different than the Norwood cars. The Norwood jacks are easier to find, but good ones that aren't rusted are getting tough to find.

Dave Liukkonen DCL70 in the thread is very knowledgeable on the jacks, but I think his inventory is pretty low, but you might want to message him.

Good luck! Nice job you are doing on Randy's car.

Thank you. I am pretty good with Chevelles but learn new things every day on the second gen Camaros. Thanks for the info. Ron L had mentioned that the jacks were different between the two plants as well as the date location but thanks for mentioning it again.

Do you have any contact info for DCL70? I am a member there but it appears they do not do PM's on their site?

Thank you for the compliment. Randy's car will be beautiful in Cortez Silver and should be done this year depending on when the body and paint are completed.

They do PM's there, but it's called a "conversation" for some reason. I'll PM you his email address.
