Picked up a Lemans Blue 05E 68 SS 4Spd Camaro. It needs alot of love, but I had to save her. Sitting since 1978 and has 70's look with Cragars, Air Shocks, Traction Bars, Transparent Hood Scoop, Painted White Underside Suspension, Tow Hitch and lets not forget the shag carpet that I immediately removed.

Going to remove the Day 2 parts and install original stuff.

Three more pics....I will be re-installing the engine soon after I re-gasket it and look it over.

Nice! Looks a lot like my L78 project the day I bought it:

Awesome! Will you be reinstalling a shag carpet? I sure hope so!

Nevermind I just read you will be returning to original.

It'll draw a bigger crowd if you leave it as is.

I'd keep the Day 2 stuff. There's a million factory stock cars out there, but Day 2 is almost always unique.

No disrespect to anyone's factory stock rides, my heart just lies with era correct modified stuff.

That might have been true 20 years ago,but there's just as many Day 2 cars out there today, maybe more.
Either way, always own what you like. :burnout:

There’s something to be said for cars that were modified back in the day.
