My all time favorite WWII airplane. Take a ride in one as it is well worth the money!

The P51 is an awesome aircraft. I was at Lackland Airfield and saw a version I have never seen before, the F82. The F82 is a twin version of the P51. I've seen a few of them now, only static display.

P51 Mustang II ?!

Nope. Only a handful of parts are interchangeable between the two and otherwise it is a completely redesigned airplane.

There is one flying and one nearing completion. I used to visit the yet unfinished one at the Anoka County Airport in MN many times a year when it was located there. Somewhere I have many photos of the work being done on it.
Currently this is the only one flying. Here is the YouTube video of the find and partial restoration.
