Goodguys Scottsdale 2020 Covid edition

I went to Goodguys Scottsdale for the first time (enjoy the pics) in a bunch of years-normally we're in Chicago at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, but like most other shows, that was canceled-


It was good to see Kevin DeWitte, Larry Christiansen, Renee Keene and Adrienne Weld (briefly)...I saw Larry from Prescott Valley's dad's GTO, I think...but they weren't near it?-and it was great to hang out and visit with Ken and Paulette. It was HOT out at the show, too. They limited the attendance to 5000 people...and it's pretty spread out!

Adrienne Weld brought out the 48 Ford truck that her dad Greg had built before he passed away from cancer. She's taken it to quite a few Goodguys events in her dad's honor....


Beautiful truck. Greg was an amazing person. I was honored to know him :worship:

A few years ago, I was out there doing the auto show, heading out to get cigars at Lonsdales smoke shop, I saw that show going on at West World, where BJ takes place, we stopped, what a awesome show. Looks like it’s at a diff place.
It’s snowing here today, totally jealous.

Mike-Pavilions is no longer...at least for now. So the only car show in town is at 67th Ave and Bell.

I met an IMSA Champion yesterday, Chuck Cassaro. I guess he has 11 IMSA championships or so. We bought a car off him for a friend. Super nice guy.
