Wanting some Cragar SS wheels for my 53 Studebaker.

Looking at a pair that have never been mounted at a reasonable price.

Do they still make Cragars that are NOT unilug? These are obviously not unilug.

I checked on the Summit website, and they are all unilug in 15x6.

Missed them. Only on CL for 3 hours, and already sold.

We had a customer buy new Cragars a few years ago that were not unilug and I was surprised. I thought they were all unilug too, but these were new wheels he purchased from a local tire dealer. They MAY have been 14", I don't recall for certain.

OK, you made me look. This is a list of the wheels from Cragars web site. They don't list any multi-fit bolt patterns. They are all separate part numbers now...:dunno: About time, I stopped buying them when they went to multi-fit and the washers caved in at torque spec.

Thanks for the links.

Good to know they went back to direct drill.

Original Cragars from the 60's were not unilug.

When did they go to Unilug then? I thought I remembered reading (I wasn't there- born in '99) that most of them in the 1970s were unilug

No the originals were direct drill and they went to unilug in the late 60's, I "think". I bought a pair in about '71 and they were unilug and I was not impressed. Love them on our area cars, but hadn't bought any since that set. I'll be looking it at them again for my Chevelle's.
