There is an ebay listing for a KC-built 70 Chevelle trim tag with the oft-seen L on it, which has generally been accepted as indicating the car was a true SS. This may very well end up on an original Malibu car which is then represented as a true SS. The same tag is also being offered for sale on Craigslist in Spokane. Seller regularly has Chevelle items listed for sale on various venues.
