This car has been around for a while in its current state, and is one of my favorite restomods of all time. Love the original gold cloth interior...you'd never know there was a TT 6L engine under the hood.

That's awesome.

The Hot Rod article (linked in the auction) mentioned it had Diamondback whitewalls on it at one time. I just had to see what it looked like with the whitewalls installed:

That car is the first thing that came to my mind, when you posted that 70' 307 Chevelle from craigslist the other day.
I love the bilge pump in the old ice chest cooler being used for the intercooler recirculation pump!!

This is quite the sleeper, keeping the flat hood and even burying the tach in the sweep dash.
