Hi sYc Gang, Merry Christmas!
I have a genuine NOS GM L79 camshaft that was in the tube until I popped it out an hour ago. This is the special HiPo hydraulic cam that is so sought after - original equipment in the SBC 327 / 350 screamers that we all know about.
RARE to find in untouched condition like this IMHO.
Any apparent powder on it is just 40+ years of chaffed off cardboard from the cam sliding inside the tube a 1/4" at a time. This is will clean up perfectly IMHO.
Nothing like real GM.
The ink daubs on the end are present & correct, and the factory part number stamp is present, and while characteristically faint, it only takes a little imagination to make out, but it's there and this is certainly as genuine as leather.
I showed photos of it unopened and close ups of the part number - you will get the original tube of course and cap and the two staples if you like. :)
$325 PPFF shipped & insured to the 48 with tracking.
Cheers all, be safe & well.
