Does anyone have any info on Hailey Chevrolet in Chattanooga, TN? My SS396 JL8 car was sold there after unknown use at the Tech Center.
I know that it was Hamilton Motors and was bought by Wilburn Hailey and renamed in 1947. It moved in 1951 to 1700 Broad St and was sold in 1971.
Looks like there were two other dealers in town - Adcox Kirby and Newton.
I can't find any Chattanooga newspapers online after 1963. The only picture I've seen is this one, at the earlier 1200 Broad St location (Photo by Delmont Wilson from the Free Press collection at ChattanoogaHistory.com).
