Looks like several Supercars at the Auction in Kissimmee!

Beautiful car and I really dislike Green cars so that says a lot!

What kind of $ do you guys think this car will bring?

Way out of my league just curious on your thoughts?

I'd say between $200K and $250K

Is this the same car that was at the Supercar Reunion in Springfield in the first 2-3 years, or is there a second green car? I’m assuming it’s the same car?

Lee, you could be right. But the 73 that went though in 2019 sold for dramatically less @ $90,200 with buyers prem in there. And this is a known car and supposed to be the last phase III Camaro built.

BUT there was another one that didn't sell @ $250,000 back in 2012.

I didn't think the Motion cars brought much over the $100,000 mark from my talks with a few different guys.

There seems to be 2 green phase III cars, one with white strip and one with black. Now is there multi cars of each variant????

Interesting car. It appears the axle tubes have been welded...is that something Motion would have done as part of the "package"?

EZ....not sure if was ever determined to be the last Camaro that Motion built but they went bankrupt shortly after this car was built.

It was the perfect height so we used it as a barbers chair for the kids :)

The one that was at the Springfield reunion was Green with white stripes and I’m guessing it was this one.

:)

The gold 73 was built by a mechanic who worked at Motion and is not the last Baldwin Motion Camaro

Motion didn't go bankrupt

Thanks Joe, didn't know or see that? Was that auction or private?

I have spoken with some guys that have/had Motion cars after seeing a couple go for right around the 100K mark, Charlie being one of them. I listened and took what they have told me. Those conversations are for me though, not for others unless they say it.

I was shocked that lately the BM Camaro's don't seem to be bringing the $$$ I once saw. I have only seen the auction results of what 5 of these '70-'73 BM Camaros, and seem like the #'s from 5 years ago we going down. That's all.

Guess we will see where this one goes too. I would venture to say 150-170 range? Being a '70, RS option, and Tiemann restored sidepipe car, should bring some $$$.

Maybe I'm wrong and could very well be. If it goes higher, then GREAT for the those involved. I know the phase III Vette seem to do a better $$$ wise. Just surprised me that these BM cars were lagging behind what Yenko's go for.

Didn't mean to piss anyone off.............

$500,000 BM Camaro, he might be referring to this one?

I don't get play in this sandbox as I don't have the $ just have a passion for musclecars and have always thought the BM were very cool! I would have to wonder what kind of $ the Rally Green and white 1969 RS/SS would bring if it ever came up for sale?

I remember seeing this car in Chicago several years back when it was either Chevy Vette Fest or MCACN or both... If I recall correctly this car started out as an L78. It's a Norwood car and cowl tags are stamped on the big block SS cars.

My apologies for the hijack, but does anyone how many of these cars there are? By these, I mean Motion built Camaros. A registry or something like that? Even a rough number?

That car is one of my favorites, I am grateful to MCACN for giving me the opportunity to see it in 2013.

My RED & WHITE 71 MOTION WAS MORE.

Red would be a lot more appealing to me than the green/green combo for sure!
Besides the colours this car checks all the boxes for me. RS, side pipes, cragars and stance, car looks awesome in the pics.

I will only ever be able to admire these cars from a distance due to the $.

Still remember seeing this recreation during my only visit so far to BJ. Sold for around $30,000. Should have bought it!

Just surprised me that these BM cars were lagging behind what Yenko's go for.

I think you are comparing auction results for 70-73 Baldwin Motion and Motion Camaros versus 1st Gen. Yenko Camaro auction results. That's apples and oranges.

A real 1st gen. Baldwin Motion Camaro would sell for considerably above the same year Yenko Camaro if in similar condition. There's probably about 10 documented 1st gen. BM Camaros in total and each one is unique versus about 300 1st gen. Yenko Camaros.

Yes I was. I know there were hardly ANY 1 gen BM cars, and NO really YSC cars. To me, the BM cars are a bit more appealing just due to the fact they have modification to get them to perform better.

Looking at the 69-70 Nova supercar thread, make me wonder how some of those modified L88 Nova's or the 454/500+hp car ran. Headers, slicks gears, intake and cam changes MUST be a 1/2 second minimum quicker.

Back in the early '70's to be running a legit low 11 or high 10 second car would have been king.

The green/white stripe is Mark Timkens old car. I know he had way more than that in it. Mark is a perfectionist.

This is the car on the cover of AMT BM model kit.
