“No expense spared” yet everything is incorrect and the work all done wrong.
Every other word to describe car is “rare”. Guy boasting and claiming how rare components on car are, when in fact a known common item. Rare also over used when scarce would be more appropriate.

When my parents were buying their new 1986 Monte SS. The salesman told my Mom that Limited Slip was something the dealership applied to the driver seat so people wouldn’t slide around.
Even my Mom new that was BS.
LOL, true story.

Rare 3 speed manual. Only 142 built this way.
Right - cause only the cheapskates bought a muscle car with the standard 3 speed manual. Everyone wanted either the 4 speed manual or the 3 speed automatic.

"I'll let it rot before I give it away for _____" (market price, 1.5x market price, 2x market price).
It's just code for "I've been victimized by life and I'm going to hold this unfortunate rusty car hostage until I get some kind of validation."

Agreed on these ones and many others. Some I personally do not agree with like, “should clean up nice”, “in good shape for its age”, and a few others. The title shows this is things on the phone so I can understand that causing that instinct. If it is a description of something online than there has to be some sort or descriptive words that can be applied and “patina” is the oldest word on the book. I agree that there will always be those guys putting perfume on a pig but wordsmithing is also a skill a think we would all pay for when marketing an item for sale.
