This was recently posted on the NCRS boards and I had a question regarding the F&SO 4510A designation on the TT?
Does anyone here know if there is any significance to it?

I have a Corvette order copy ( tank sheet ) for a 1969 Corvette that i owned and in the upper right hand corner of the sheet there is a box COPO/F&SO
Got tired of standing on my head.

I know it's Fleet and Special Order - the car may have been a police or hiway pursuit vehicle.

I've encountered a number of F&SO cars. Since this car is a Biscayne, it could likely have originally been a police or taxi. One would have to look for telltales of the chassis package, such as HD ball joints, metallic brakes, etc OR the Body package, such as thick foam padded seat, padded sunvisors. two MPH increment speedometer, etc.
It's also possible it was just part of a fleet order to be used as a salesman's car, or delivery car. Somewhere within the Fleet department's files there should be a record of what order number 4510A consisted of, but those records haven't seen the light of day yet. The only thing I can tell from this tag is that the car was probably delivered with a 3-spd trans.

PS The car was also originally Abobe Beige with a Fawn interior. Fawn interiors were typical of police cars. (but could be ordered on any Biscayne sedan.

The fellow who just bought that car showed up on the VCCA chat forum with inquiries. I hope he's not disappointed with his purchase.
