You may want to get those wraps off the b pillars -- the paint is not really dry and if you leave them on there it may leave marks ... BUT the Nova sure is pretty!!!

Yes, will remove as soon as it's home.
It has been sprayed w/2 coats of clear... de-nibbed, edged and scuffed... air dried.. baked...
Then re-cleared and air dried for a week prior to putting the doors back on.
Lots of clear for cutting and polishing !

Thanks Tom,
Yes, 1970 Forest Green. A good friend loaned me his 1970 dealer sales album paint chip book (2-1/2" x 10" chips). We did about 10 spray-outs to nail it.
They all thought I was crazy sticking to the original style metallics and not going with the new "brilliant" cut flake. Ha! I know what I want ! It's dead on to the sample I have.

My first real muscle car was a 70 bench seat L78 4spd...Forest Green. It came from the factory with a 3.55 non-posi....and power steering. I drove a couple of years and then decided to make a few 'improvements'...engine rebuild, crazy GK solid lifter cam, headers, 4.56 posi, Mallory coil, dual point distributor, etc.
Somewhere there is a photo of that car [I hope]...it had the decor pkg. with rocker trim and pinstripes. Mohawk Super Mag 60 tires on Cragars...Thrush Hush header mufflers...those were the days.
Looking forward to following your project...let me know if I can help in any way.

That Forest Green so brings me back to my first HS car with similar story to Tom's. 70, Forest Green, M22, buckets, 373s. Tried to search for that car for years in Ohio where the trail went cold. Had insurance info, VIN and you used to be able to title search in Ohio. Picked up the Black L78 in the early 1990's but still think about that Forest Green 70! Thanks for keeping the memory alive!!!! Mark
