this is a interesting Dana Camaro drag car photo on FB

It has the same Dana logo on the door like used on the black Dana house drag car

Dana ran a ad where they sold 2 versions of the 427 Camaro , a street car and a drag car.

I wounder if this was sold as a Dana built turn key drag car

There is a lot of evidence on that black car that calls into question whether it is what it claims to be. It was discussed here previously.

Surprising to see a flat hood on that '67 Camaro. Gotta luv those Dana Camaros!

When that Car & Owner surfaced locally about 5or6 years ago, I had serious doubts about what it was claimed to Be ! Even though I had a couple friends that were involved in the Body & Paint work. Once I met and talked to the owner a few times I'm still very skeptical ! still a Cool Car, Cool Story I guess haha

What a pile of BS in that article.
Gold 327 auto, built in mid-Nov, shipped to a different dealer. Bought by Dana and converted though it had no 12 bolt, no manual trans, and the wrong color. Why would Dana not convert any car on their lot? Before November. And start with a SS350?

MacNeish did an appraisal. That conveniently never gets mentioned.....
