1970 LT1 Heads. Removed from a running 1970 LT1 corvette. Owner was going to have rebuilt but decided to go with aftermarket heads and did not want to keep these. He had them magnafluxed and checked out. Looks like they never had any seat work or other done. Magnaflux called out two small cracks in seats marked and indicated in pics. Dates shown indicate early 1970. $200 OBO plus ride. Mark

I thought all LT1 motors had the push rod guide plates?

Not sure. All i can confirm is that these heads came off a stock LT1 1970 Corvette. Neighbor owns the car and still has original block that came in the car that had these heads on it.

I have a buddy of mine just found a pair the same with press in studs, 186 202 valves dated 4-26-0. maybe someone else here on the forum can tell us.

Was the L-46 350Hp 350 available in 1970? If so it could have used the heads without guideplates.

1970 LT-1 186 heads came with 2.02 / 1.60 valves, screw-in studs and push rod guide plates from the factory.

The L-46 was available in 1970 and using the hydraulic cam, came with pressed in studs. These heads came off an L-46 1970 Corvette.
