I'm sure there are. I sold my Victory Vegas below years ago, but I've been thinking of getting another Victory or maybe a Harley Road King or Heritage Softail.

Yes, I’m a bike guy too. I ride just about everything. From vintage to exotic, dirt to street, cruiser to sport bike and everything in between , even scooters.

Yep, 2016 Road Glide Special.
I quit riding 13 years ago. Too many inattentive drivers out there. Felt like I had a bulls eye on my back. That's also when my brother almost died because a youngster came flying out of a parking lot, blowing through a stop sign, right in front of my brother, who was doing 35 in a 40 mph zone. Hit the car broad side and flipped over it. Good thing he was wearing a helmet. His helmet is on display at the OU trauma center as one that saved a live. He still has major issues physically.
Last month before I sold my last bike, I had to lock up the brakes twice from people turning left in front of me without signalling. Just not worth the risk to me. Respect your right to ride.

I only ride occasionally for these reasons and the many phone distracting drivers. Try to ride in rural areas w less traffic.

My Dad let me ride his Harleys when I was in my teens and twenties. Once I had kids, I quit riding because of the dangers of other drivers combined with the fact that I didn't think my once-in-a-while riding kept me sharp, skills-wise. I like riding, but not sure I'll go back once my youngest is 18 in a couple of years. A small convertible might be good enough for me. If some town were to declare itself motorcycle-only, I think they'd instantly become the new retirement Mecca for a lot of people, lol.

I love Harleys. I currently have a 2003 100th Anniversary Softail Deuce I bought brand new with only 3 thousand miles and a 2006 Low Rider. I just sold my 2005 Electraglide Classic. The wife and I were not riding it as much. Plus the older I am getting I am very concerned about getting whacked on one of the bikes due to how horrible drivers have become.

I went from a 71 FLH I had ridden for 36 years to the Road Glide. No comparison as to performance and handling. Modern brakes on the new bikes are great. I have a soft spot for the early V Twins. My first Harley was a 48 EL Panhead.
I like to work on bikes, much easier than cars.

Mark I didn’t know until a few years ago you could get foot clutch/hand shift set up on late Panheads and early Shovelheads. Like the 65! Cool.

Can someone tell me what muffler to put on an M109? I checked the wide range of options on 4wheelonline but I don't know what type and model to buy for my bike.

I got my first bike at 15. Been riding ever since. I went 1 year without a bike. I sold the Honda I had, to get married. Should have kept the bike and rode on into the sunset. Anyway, 53 years later, and still riding. Bought the current bike new in 2000. We didn't ride it much while our son was growing up, as he was 4 when I brought it home. It now has about 11,000 miles. Like others, we avoid freeways and high density roads.
It was Black when new, but we had an Aqua Pearl '95 before this and my wife is Aqua Girl, so a few years ago, I bought used sheet metal and had them painted the same color.

Pinstriping is applied by hand by a local young guy. He does some really nice work.

Here's my 2016 Harley Sportster 1200, it's called a '48 because of the vintage look. I don't ride like I used to, this one barely gets to the main road five miles away.

I know what you mean about not riding much...I am buying my friend's 65 Panhead just as soon as he decides to let it go, so I bought this 2000 Fat Boy with Factory custom paint etc. last April to by my rider until the 65 is mine. It had 90 original miles on it when I got it and it has a whopping 150 miles now!

You are about 20 miles from me then. I am in Dunnellon, off C39. Built my place on 33 acres down here a few years ago. I ran my own independent Harley shop for close to 45 years in Michigan. Made a good living. At one time, I owned 22 up and running Harley's. I've owned every model they made from 1937 to 1998. All I have now are two 1998 Road Kings. The one in Michigan has a 110" S&S engine in it, the one down here is basically stock with a few engine mods. Old bones have slowed down my riding time considerably.

We went thru Dunnellon a few days ago. I was down here ab out 2 years ago and had a price all worked out on a nice double wide on 5 acres with a NICE garage/workshop just south/east of Dunnellon and the wife put the cabosh on it at the last minute. We were, also, looking to relocate from our Stillwater, MN home after 19 years and she was afraid we wouldn't be able to do that if we bought the FL place. 1 month later, we signed the contract on our River Falls home.
We looked at a decent home on 1 acre in Lecanto on Sunday, but it needs too much work to warrant the inflated prices right now, so we passed. She hadn't been to this area of FL before and is now getting on board to find a way to spend some of the winter down here... It was 22 degrees below zero last Friday, when she flew out of MSP and 74 degrees when I picked her up at Tampa Int.

Posting pics direct from your hard drive are usually too big. Using a hosting pic site will automatically reduce the size and allow them to post on here. There are some free host sites, just do a search for "free picture hosting" and see what you come up with. I have been with Photobucket for many years and am grandfathered in at a low rate, or I couldn't/wouldn't afford to keep using them.
I post pics from my computer on here. I open them with Microsoft Office, then downsize using "compress picture".
