I am new to the supercar registry and don't know if this is the place for this, but my name is Jeff Kiehl and I raced NHRA superstock from 1981 to 1994, I started running SS/EA with a real Yenko Camaro purchased new by Jere Gemler, the car has been restored to original and is owned by Jere to this day, In 1986 I had Ed Quay build me a Monte Carlo SS that I ran as a SS/GTA car with the 427/425 engine combination from the SS/EA car. I went a best of 10.04 134 at the Dutch Classic at Reading Pa. in that car. I then purchased a 69 Camaro SS/DA car from Lyn Lapierre which was originally The Vinnny Tarentola Vitar transmission car, then became the Vince Alessi Select Performance car. I campaigned this car with my motor for several years having a best of 9.87 at 135 mph. I have recently purchased a 69 ZL1 copo clone that was built on the Detroit Muscle TV show. I've posted some pictures of these cars.

Great to have you on board. Many of us on here are ex drag racers or at the very least spectators. I lived on the strip throughout my teens and into my 20's bracket racing and then onto Pro Stock racing in the early 80's. Some of my life's best memories. I think I speak for many that it would be great to hear your stories.

Bring that ZL1 out to the pure stock drags, it is all about getting them to hook up on polyglas F70-14

Very cool!! I was doing the same thing in the early 90s.. I built this car myself but used almost all of Ed Quays parts. He was a Great help. I sold the car and it ended up your way around 1995.

Nice car Ken. I ran mostly Division 3 and some 1. Went as far south as Atlanta and as far west as Michigan. Won Class with the GTA car at US nationals in 1986 and with the SS/DA car at Southern nationals in 1994. I can remember in the early eighties there being 12 SS/EA 427/425 cars running for class honors at the US nationals.
