I hope everyone enjoys a great St. Patrick's Day. Just took my soda bread out of the oven...Karen will cook the corned beef and tonite we will watch "himself".

I had a friend of mine give me a loaf of soda bread. I had never had it before and it is delicious. Would be good with honey on top!

Bill...it is the simplest thing to make...only 4 ingredients;

-flour
-salt
-baking soda
-buttermilk

Best served warm with some Kerry Gold Butter...yum-yum :wink:

We did homemade soda bread, corned beef, cabbage and perogies. Also added a little Shepards Pie in the mix. Plus drank about a fifth of Jameson Whiskey... It was quite the party. Watching the Quiet Man all "gooned out" is the best.
