I've heard that only six L79 Chevy IIs were built in '67, which makes this an incredibly rare car...and you have the protectoplate to back up the engine option. Not cheap...but I'm not sure how valuable these cars are versus a '66 L79, where there were thousands produced with the 350hp engine.

Personally I prefer the '66 Super Sport trim to the '67, but I wouldn't kick either out of the garage. I think the '67 interior is also a little nicer than the '66 with the seat accents...one of the best looking '60s Chevy interiors IMO.

One of my wife's brothers had one visually identical to this, minus the L79. He went to body & paint school at WyoTech and did it as his final project. Subsequently got t-boned by a drunk driver that ran a stop sign. Car was totalled but supposedly rebuilt some time later :dunno:

This car has a date coded engine, but was and still is the cleanest 67 SS Nova that

Dan Miller owns. Must be time to cash in while people have money?

Just like a 66 L79 without it's original engine....just another SS car.

Consigners asking allot over what the seller wants I guess.

I previously had what was believed to be one of the 6 cars based on its POP and other identifying items on the car (didn’t have its original engine). However, I will also say it is known that there are more legit POPs that have been found vs the original ~6 that were made. This has led some experts to believe there were some mistakenly stamped POPs, especially since there have been some cars with their original non-L79 engines but ZI POP.

These cars are very interesting, to say the least.

I think it be reasonable to think the ~6 figure is incorrect and more were made than thought. 6 seems implausible based on engineering cost, etc. The 67 L79 Nova has always baffled me for this reason. I mean they made more 67 L88 Corvettes than that.
