Yes... I know exactly the feeling a group of us had tickets to the 1980 tour in Cleveland.

I wish I would have kept them... but I needed parts for Camaros more then an unused ticket. Who knew it was over for good??

Robert Plant played at Austin City Limits two years ago and it was one of the best shows we've ever seen. He accompanies himself with great musicians, also. He's not opposed to knocking out some Zeppelin songs either.

That little girl did an amazing job!

I was fortunate to see Zeppelin live.

I saw plant several times over the years and his current versions of LZ songs were not as I remember them! That said, I have to admire that him, Plant and JPJ didn’t reform to cash the checks. Plant has spent the majority of his latter years archiving and remastering their catalog.

A friend of my father's was involved in providing a security detail to Robert Plant some years back when he was on tour here in the states. Instead of flying to the tour locations Robert wanted to drive and see some of the "back road towns" of America. So my father's friend drove with him and said that when they would stop in some towns and go into a store or restaurant it was funny how many people didn't recognize him.

My father's friend was invited to Robert's daughter's wedding. He knows him quite well. He said he is a great guy..

Here is likely the best of the bootlegs of what would’ve been the 1980 North American tour.

It starts a bit slow but give it a minute to kick off, it is the entire concert.
