Even after correcting a lot of things on Jerry's list, there is a lot to nit pick on this car.
It is gorgeous, but I am shocked at the price. Maybe I need to up the insurance value on my Z.

One of the final 2 bidders has spent a lot of cash on cars recently and/or the person he’s bidding for. Must of made some money on Dogecoin!

I dont mind the color combo. Cant believe the price. I have seen way nicer cars sell for alot less. Timing was right, I guess :hmmm:
1969 Z28's have been going up the past 2 years!!

A proper restoration would have used a short rear spoiler.

I always wonder who actually pays that much for a car like that. Obviously someone smart with $$, however not a good shopper! If the $$ is changing hands, BAT is really bringing it in!! :flag:

And, to think, he could have bought the amazing Rally Green survivor Stefano sold a little while ago for much less
We just did the BAT photo shoot this morning on my 99 SS. In the past it was always a process to get BAT to agree to the reserve I asked for--this time they went right with me. Crazy times.

I was shocked what that brought. I think the interior was all new and it had body panels replaced. Crazy. Makes me think I should sell my Z and get something to drive!

Having done 2 frame-off restorations of 69 F-Bodies in the past few years I can attest to what it costs to restore a car nowadays, and it can easily be well into 6 figures for a good one. This one to me still seems a bit in excess, but as they always say at an auction, it only takes two people to set a new record.

TIM... A black over white 69 RS/Z? You had better get on that one before it gets away!
