Hi Gang, curious if anyone here has a hankering for a pair of real, genuine from back in the day Chrome Reverse wheels. Or if these are more of a hotrod forum thing.
Told they were off of a 55 Gasser from the 70s.
15X8 Chevy 5 on 4 3/4" pattern. 5on4.75
Genuine (as leather) reverse wheels - check out the valve stem! Never relocated - it's on the inboard side when rims are mounted on a car. Hoops stamped W8 L15 Made in USA and the center holes look like they were enlarged with a torch.
They're drilled for screws for slicks. Rusty but it's not fatal, could clean up, even be restored and rechromed I would imagine. They'll take a 10.25" dog dish cap. Lug holes OK. some curb nicks and dings on one lip as shown - repairable. Some tar by one valve stem. Overall condition as shown.
These are original and perfect for that original Day Two car IMHO. Or for your Barn Find. As-found condition, just hosed them off. Getting hard to find real deal stuff from back then now.
$400 PPFF plus actual shipping & insurance.
Thanks,
Anthony
