Not a survivor in the Bloomington sense, but a car that has 'seen some things' yet hasn't been restored to a significant degree. I think it's pretty cool, but I'd ultimately be tempted to tear it down and restore it.

I owned this car probably close to 20 years ago. Bought in a package deal with a '69 GTX. It ran great at that time, but the motor has been rebuilt since. It originally had 3.23s in it. The interior has been replaced. Body wise, the lower rear quarters are rusty and the trunk floor was really pretty bad.

Listing has ended, so car has possibly sold. That aluminum radiator looks pretty out of place in an otherwise patina'ed engine compartment.

Soooo, this is confession time. The original radiator currently resides in my 1970 440-6 RT/SE Challenger. When I owned this car, they weren't reproducing the 26" 956 stamped radiators. I replaced it with a 26" radiator from a C body. Guilty as charged on swiping it before I sold it.

Bad67300, totally understandable! I am quite aware of the rarity of 2998956 radiators...see my post in the "Rare Parts In Strange Places" thread in the Lounge section.

This is a really cool old car. It's a shame that the rust bug got as far as it did on it, because it has a cool patina to it otherwise. I have always loved those AG hoods - guy up the street from me had a yellow 70 GTX 440 car with that hood. What might have been considered hokey at one time is ultra cool today.
