* SOLD * Produced by Autopower Industries in San Diego I’m guessing late 60’s or very early 70’s. Great condition with the original backing plates. $675. Sorry no shipping but will deliver (in the Detroit area) to your shipper/crater of choice or local pick-up.

Very cool, are you confident it’s for a first-gen Camaro?

Hi Tony,
Yes, spoke to the original owner. Said he fitted the bar but never permanently installed. Holes are in the floor pan and inner wheelhouse. Backing plates are brand new looking. I think you need this for a current or future build 😁.

Paul,
If you’re a little flexible on the price, let’s do it!

Paul, did the original owner tell you when he happened to purchase the roll bar? The reason I ask is I have a '67 Autopower catalog and at that time they were called Autopower Corporation and were at a different address in San Diego. Different phone number too.

Jon, I did not ask but I have to believe it was before 1975 as he was very active in auto-crossing at that time. In the late 70s the car was disassembled. The newspaper many of the parts are wrapped in is dated 1978. I have a new email started with a few more questions for him and I’ll add that one.

Just wanted to thank Paul for the opportunity to buy this bar. It is in NOS condition and built like a tank. I’m stoked!
