I am still in awe of the prices these first-gen Blazers seem to bring. This one does look particularly sweet still wearing its original paint...guessing that the 2WD will hold back the value a bit.

$79,000?!?!?! Give me a F’N break. Who’s paying this money for cars that drive like trash cans on roller skates? Judas Priest….what a freaking joke. Tired of seeing cars not worth it being driven through the roof for stupidity. Good grief….:rolleyes2:
Cheers :beers:

There has been a first gen and a second gen('75) sell on BAT for 110k+ in the past 12 months.
I paid $500 for my '75 last year. It's a little rough though.
Lots of stupid money out there right now.

I've been wondering the same thing myself Dave.

Sorry for the rant, I guess I stumbled on that price right after having yet another car escape me due to absurdity in price. :rolleyes2:
I didn’t mean to offend anyone who likes trash cans on roller skates and wants to pay oodles of cash for cars that may or may not be worth it when Chicken Little comes to town and another market correction happens.
Trends in this hobby are amazing to me. I like seeing what’s becoming “In and Wanted” due to the demographics of society reaching a point where they want what they couldn’t have when whatever it was they wanted was in the showroom being sold new. I think that came out correctly…:hmmm: But combine that with an excess surplus of cash for whatever reason, the normal ascension of prices have soared higher and faster than SpaceX!:dunno:
Thanks again Scuncio for the search!!!! This is my “go to” thread in the AM!!!!! We need a “Scuncio ROCKS” emoji!!!!
Cheers:beers:

The '67-'72 Chevys have been coming on strong for a while now, and it has crept into the "squarebody" '73-'91 models as well.
Although my '87 is a lot less of a trash can on a roller skate, as it is fuel injected, overdrive, independent A arm front suspension, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning; it is essentially a "modern" passenger car wrapped in vintage truck sheetmetal.
I've made more selling it to relatives (and then getting it back) than what I paid for it new.

Chevy trucks are scalding hot right now. The yellow truck is fairly high up on the truck hierarchy too being top trim and 2WD/stick. Not saying it is worth the ask but I think he'll get pretty close to it. If this were a comparable Bronco it would be closer to $100k.
Dave and I have a '71 K5 307/4 speed (red/black) with great paperwork. We're in the process of getting it safe for the street after years of sitting. While they're not for everyone, the topless fun in the nice weather is awesome but clunky. It is a real truck experience especially with the truck style manual.

Our old 66 vette was sold from Beach City. Cool to stumble upon that on the P-O-P. That's cool truck but high miles for the ask.
Best,
Dave
