It is a late July built car formerly owned by Max Raffaele who is a member here. Owned now (last I knew) by Jim at Heartbeat City who had it listed for sale north of $200K.

I can't find a report for it so I may have been told the dealer name by Max.
Maybe Max will see this thread or you can inquire at HBC. You or your friend can also run the VIN through NCRS.

If you can post any old-time pics of the car, many here would enjoy seeing them.

My friend that knew the first owner said the clutch blew up in 1967 at New England Dragway and it damaged the sub frame. He said the driver shifted from second back into first instead of third gear. I am still waiting for the photos from him.

I just got a couple of photos from Ralph Spears. This first photo shows Ralph's friend Richard Ingals. Richard drove the car at the drag strip for original owner Warren Heaps, and also worked on it too. The second photo shows all the trophies that the car won at New England Dragway when the car was new.

Evidently a later owner added a radio. I do see the rare factory shoulder belts in the original photos that do match up with the car Max owned.
