Original 69 black standard steering wheel with deluxe woodgrain horn shroud. No cracks on the rim, a couple tiny splits on the back corners of the crossbar, and a larger split on a new side of the hub area as shown. Some other minor scratches from being over 50 years old, but when in installed it would be very difficult to see any imperfections at all. Shroud looks to be perfect, with original horn buttons, contacts, and wiring intact and uncut.
This is a nice wheel, good gloss, never repaired or painted. This is a true 69 wheel, and has pebble grain on the face of the rim, which is only seen on 1969 production line steering wheels. Wheel is similar to a 70 but the grain on the shroud and buttons are different, as well as the center emblem. NOS GM wheels sold over the counter also did not have the grain on the rim. All true GM production line parts and a very nice survivor 69 wheel.
Original grained rim 69 only steering wheels are near impossible to find, and this one would be perfect for a survivor type car. If you have an original 69 Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Bel Air, Biscayne, or el Camino In need of a nice original GM wheel for a fair price, this is it. I've seen NOS woodgrain shrouds sell for near this price alone. Take a look, everything you see is original and included! Sold as-is.
