I'm not suggesting this is a 'good' deal at $29k, but I love seeing these colors combined with three pedals and thirty year old paint. Sure looks like a good, honest car. Hopefully the dude who buys it doesn't put an Art Morrison chassis under it with an LS3.

That's just what I did. In 64 someone traded a 62 6 cly. 3 speed Impala in at my dad's dealership and my parents give me the car on my 16th birthday. That summer put a 327 300hp in with the 3 speed. The next winter a 4 speed T10 went in. That started my love for 62 Impala's. Had 2 other though the years.

Be a fun car to drop the high performance 292 I have in and go. Be the easiest to just bolt in and it may give a 327 a run for it's money.

I'm sure Verne is watching this one closely to make sure of a good outcome... :flag::beers:

Sure do miss his input and knowledge.

Split the exhaust into duals with glasspacks and make some stovebolt noise!
