I didn't know this game was on tonight until a couple hours ago so I thought others might not have known either. I'm not a big baseball fan these days but this should be pretty cool.

It's been all over the news here as it's within our local station's coverage. Kevin Costner is throwing the first pitch. I'm no fan either but I liked the movie and welcome the tourism dollars.

Thanks for the Heads up.
One of the Best Baseball games ever played between two dominant teams.
Hope to see many more MLB quiet games hosted by Dyersville,Iowa.

Our local 10:00 news was broadcast from over there, fairly certain next year will be Cubs vs Cardinals. No doubt Dan V. (Post Sedan) will be there!!

That was a great game in an even better setting, if they don't continue that game MLB is just plain dumb. I thought it was pretty cool the score ended up being 8-9 since the movie was released in 1989. Hard to believe it was 32 years ago, I'll be an AARP member next year.

Great game with plenty of power. Ball carried like you wouldnt believe. Lots of home runs late in the game. A game that will be played very year now.
For future generations when Jeopardy asks:"Who was the first MLB player to ever hit a Homerun in the state of Iowa?
Answer:White Sox's own Jose Abreu. :)

Only heaven could have been involved with all that prevailed in and around this event. The script for this event couldn't have unfolded any better............much like the movie itself.

I was a rabid baseball fan my entire life. Dropped them when they got woke.
