Black Chevelle's with no stripes sure do have a sinister and I'm liking them more all the time. No mention if the drivetrain is original but if it's only got 40k miles I'd be hopeful.

So refreshing to not see the author use "Stripe Delete",because it was never ordered with them in the first place.

I personally would rather have this car than the Silver one that was being flipped in the mid to high $50's a week or so back.

Yes, Very Cool 70, I have a wood SS shifter ball like this one. I have never seen another one till now. Was told that GM sold them "over the counter" parts department. Any one know?

Thanks Gregg

FWIW - I’m told it’s a ‘70 CE block

Yes it had a warranty installed CE installed 1970. Interesting car that would be a fantastic driver, although the CE limits the buyers.

FWIW - I’m told it’s a ‘70 CE block

The SS knob is vintage Cal Custom. I have a ton of them NOS stashed somewhere.

Anyone who was after one of the SS shifter knobs like the one pictured on this car, I just listed a bunch of them in the for sale section.

They can be seen here:
