The politics of the situation in Afghanistan is the major news story of our time...my thoughts and prayers are with our service men and women who are bravely doing an amazing job under the most horrible circumstances.
Let's pray they all get back home safely to their friends and family.

A close friend of mine was sent to Kabul a few months ago and found out his translator was tortured… not a good time and place to be right now for anyone…..

I know politics aren't allowed to be discussed here, so I'll refrain from giving my opinion on the entire situation. So much blame to go around on this one. May Jesus Bless all of those people serving in Afghanistan, as well as the innocent civilians who just want to live their lives free and not harm others. This will, unfortunately, get worse.

Picture of one of the tarmacs/ramps here at Ramstein. Amazing what can be done when humanity answers the call for help.
So far...
76 aircraft arrivals
18,700 evacuees from Qatar and Afghanistan
4,100 evacuees flown to the United States
Those porta johns were sourced throughout Germany. They were scarce since about every available porta john was already in the Ahr Valley supporting the devastating floods that recently happened.
