Definitely a pretty color combo on this one, and has at least the appearance of high-performance with that Muncie shifter poking out of the floor. Unfortunately it's our old friend underhood, the venerable 307, but it's refreshing to see something that hasn't been modified by a guy like me with the itch to go faster....

gotta be ultra rare. Never seen another and never thought a 307 2 bbl was even available with a 4 speed

I like it...simple and it looks clean and well cared for. As for the 4 speed...unless it was swapped out, this car would have a Saginaw wide ratio transmission from the factory. That was the tranny used for the low-performance motors. The Canadian paperwork mentions M-20...pretty sure that designation was for the wide ratio for both the Saginaw and Muncie applications.

A 307 2bbl. might come in handy the way gas prices are going these days.

Sweet looking ride. Nice to see one that hasn't been cloned to an SS.

Very cool car, but it's hard to fathom ordering a 4 speed and not the 350 engine too. I'd have to drop an L48 in there and leave the 307 emblems, eh Tony...

With a complete lack of underside pics, no way to see which trans it is, but you are correct that it would, in all probability, be a Saginaw. And, yes, the M20 designation was used interchangeably for either trans. No mention of it being a Muncie in the description or Canadian documentation and Saginaw didn't provide shifters for their trans, so the Muncie shifter would be correct as well.

----Anybody notice the lump on the hood? Really nice Chevelle. Needs a stout 383 and trans switch if it is a Saginaw and it would be a sweet ride......Bill S

Wow, no, it blends in so well, I didn't notice it.

I DID notice the water drops on the left inner wheel house in the trunk from the rear window leaking.

Relisted in the link below - but the lack of description makes me think it's a scam:

I'm with ya on the scam, appears to be the same pics as the originals you posted with some distorted from poor copy/paste.

Seller is new too, with zero feedback... buyer beware.
